The Manheim Borough Police Department received a report of a burglary on Sunday, 9/22/13 at 1:58 PM on Old Line Road in Rapho Township:
The property owner reported seeing two male suspects enter a house he owned and confronted them but they were able to flee the scene.
Through an investigation, the two suspects, Adams and Hartman, were identified by vehicle description and photo lineups as well as several interviews.
After a short search, the suspects were found hiding in a basement of a house on South Market Avenue in Mount Joy Borough. Once in custody, Hartman admitted to his role in the burglary. Adams refused to speak with investigators.
Both reported having issues with drug use and needed money for those addictions.
Mount Joy Borough and Susquehanna Regional Police Departments assisted in the investigation and apprehension of the suspects.
